First discovered in the Unaka Range of the Great Smokey Mountains in eastern Tennessee, unakite is a mixture of epidote and feldspar. With a combination of moss green and salmon pink or red colors, unakite is believed to be a grounding stone, or one which helps the wearer see beauty in the world around them. It is also a traditional token between married couples as a symbol of their union.
Unakite can be used during labor to promote an easy birth. It triggers the body's self-healing process and balances bodily fluids and metabolism. It also relieves obsessions or compulsions that have roots in the past. Furthermore, unakite promotes harmonious relationships, both in love and business.
